OUR STRENGTHS

INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

Our production capability is 300.000 m/month with 55 air-jet looms (13 for plain weave, 14 dobby and 28 jacquard).

The ability to weave with rapier looms (dobby or jacquard) makes possible to use silk and yarn-dyed cupro with a strong focus on quality.
Furthermore, Gi. Tessil Foderami geared up with a digital ink-jet printer capable of printing very small batches starting from 3 metres in a week. Speed and flexibility allow to widen the offer of customized linings with an extensive range of desings and patterns and with the addition of many colours during the printing.
The mainly used fabrics are: acetate, viscose, cupro, stretchy polyester, nylon, cotton and silk.

Gi. Tessil Foderami is equipped with a business management software that digitizes the information flow, funnelling all the operations in an unified ERP (Enterprise Resouce Planning) system.
The software integrates and connects all the business activities. For this reason, Gi. Tessil can be considered a digital enterprise.

MADE IN ITALY/CERTIFICATIONS/SUSTAINABILITY

Our linings are Made in Italy because they are weaved, dyed and finished in Italy. We possess the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and FSC® sustainability certificates.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a certification and control standard for textile raw materials, partially completed and finished products, that identifies the articles that are harmless for human health. All the linings from Gi. Tessil hold this certification.

The FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council, certification code BV-COC-163204) Chain of Custody certification ensures the traceability of raw materials from FSC® certified forests (the cellulose pulp is used to produce acetate and viscose yarn). All products from Gi. Tessil are FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council, certification code BV-COC-163204) certified, as to guarantee that forest management is environmentally conscious, socially beneficial and economically sustainable.

Recycled yarns are another tangible way to produce sustainable linings. Gi. Tessil has a wide range of linings made of recycled stretch or non-stretch polyester and nylon. These yarns are guaranteed as upcycled by our suppliers with the relevant certifications.
